Based on Einstein’s special theory and later general theory of relativity, we are able to relate time with light the ultimate speed possible in the universe. Einstein had considered TIME as fourth dimension in addition to X, Y, Z dimensions we know and visualize. Here, he visualised how objects in the universe travels compared to speed of light and able to predict tests that later passed and still passing new challenging tests.
Whether time is relative?Yes it is for objects except light. Because it depends on speed of object’s/life’s energy. some can take 10 minutes to travel 1 km distance, whereas others may take 15 minutes. Now consider same situation for light speed. It is constant in full vacuum universe and we know there is no place where perfect full vacuum exist. However, theoretically we can say the speed of light is constantbut not its value 299792458 m/s derived because ofits denominator “TIME” varies. It can be fraction of a sec or a light year. We can visualize that the Sun’s flow of light raysin all direction is constant if it is in perfect full vacuum.

In author’s view, TIME is imaginary thing, it has no physical existence. it is derived by humans (life). Take example of Mars planet, what will time do there? Planet life depends of its chemical/physical reactions/interaction happening there. here, timenot interacting directly or indirectly to interfere the process instead it is merely a unit that tells human (a highly intelligent life) about what happened/happening/will happen there. Think this situation before 2000 years, whether we were able to know there was a planet Mars orbiting Sun? So, we can say TIME is illusion or merely a unit of measurement. That’s why, it cannot take part in any phenomenon happening in the universe.
However, TIME as a measurement unit has many roles to play. Like in Special theory of relativity and general theory of relativity, it assembles with light and predicts many tests that enablesus to know many new things of universe.
